„Highlight-Guide“

The special "Highlight Guide" format at PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION stands for the presentation of best practices and creative applications. Here, exhibitors have the opportunity to show their product highlights in action.
Various scenarios are available that showcase print technology, software applications, finishing highlights, cross-media and marketing measures for brands and products in the context of a campaign. The project implementations are embedded in real brand demonstrations and a performance showcase of all communication elements, some of which are produced live at the trade show.

Project 1: Packaging interpretation "Natural cosmetics and sustainable print finishing".

Together with the brand partner "Die Kräutermagie" - a manufactory for natural cosmetics - the task arose to reinterpret existing product packaging for shower soaps and hair shampoo at the POS. In the process, the packaging is to be made more visually appealing and eye-catching through sustainable print enhancements. And proof is being provided that sustainability and finishing are absolutely not a contradiction in terms.
This highlight project provides answers to the question of which processes, techniques and options are available.

Project 2: GIN project

The new GIN project is a special kind of project. In addition to the production of the labels and packaging, extensive marketing and point-of-sales materials are being designed and produced exclusively for the GIN brand, which was developed especially for PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION.
The basis is an orange gin distilled exclusively in the Moselle region and a design bottle. On this basis, the project partners develop the complete brand equipment with high-quality print highlights.

Project 3: Haribo social game "Bärchen Lauf" - new development of packaging concept with print finishing

In cooperation with the brand partner Haribo, the idea of developing a party game was developed. The task is for Haribo to develop a high-quality and advertising medium for the permanent presence of the brand, which has a high emotional and interactive character. The digital print finishing technologies are to make the product visually and haitically more appealing and at the same time use production formats that are industrially feasible.

Project 4: "Print moves - the power of cards"

At this year's PRINT & DIGITAL CONVENTION, you will find a joint campaign by the companies YUPO Europe / locr / Inapa Germany / Terminal A0 and the f:mp in the foyer.
Under the motto "Print moves", the companies YUPO/locr/Inapa/Terminal A0 and the f:mp. present that all roads lead to - Düsseldorf. Geomarketing and the targeted customer approach are at the heart of the idea here. Look out for the large map in the foyer and the small maps nearby.

Among all interested people who visit the 5 partner booths and have this stamped, we will draw a trip for 2 people to Hamburg in May on each evening of the fair. The draw will take place at 17:45 at the f:mp booth.
On May 19th the "Inspiration@Work" will take place at the Trabrennbahn in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld (if Corona allows it). All partners have been participating in this fair, which is organized by Inapa in Hamburg, for years. The mix of communication, information and entertainment is known far beyond the borders of Hamburg. Be there. Project 5: POS marketing in practice - staging of organic food store "Naturkost Oase" with all associated POS advertising media and digital signage

With a "pop-up store" of the organic food store Die Naturkost Oase Canon shows which versatile possibilities are possible in the field of POS marketing with digital printing. By using a Canon digital printing machine of the C170 series, it will be shown on site how uncomplicated print products can be produced on demand. In addition, FKS will be showing some of the possibilities for further processing and finishing.
Modern POS activities increasingly also have cross-media approaches. Our exhibition partner Ruhrkraft will show on site how to extend the customer journey by using digital signage.
In addition to the display of messages depending on the time of day, for example, the customer can call up further product information by scanning products.

Project 6: 12 // 12 a collaborative print // art project

12 // 12 is an innovative, haptic acquisition and marketing tool that informs customers about the variety of possible applications in digital printing and digital print finishing.
12 // 12 presents twelve artists from North Rhine-Westphalia in a memory game consisting of thirty-six pairs of square cards. The pairs in the game show excerpts of the works on different papers and with different finishing techniques, presenting the breadth of today's digital printing possibilities.
